It has been found that the Media have been approaching several contact points at the Election Commission of Bhutan on a given subject or information resulting in the uncoordinated and conflicting responses bordering to personal opinions.
All may note that henceforth there should be only one position/stand from the Election Commission of Bhutan on a given issue or subject. As such, points to be stated in an interview or information to be supplied to Media, other individuals and agencies must receive the prior clearance from a competent authority.
