The Election Commission of Bhutan, pursuant to Notification ECB/NOTIF/-1/2013/3403 dated 29th of April 2013 and as required under Section 34 of the Election Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2008 is pleased to hereby issue the Final Electoral Roll for the Second Parliamentary Elections 2013: National Assembly.
The Final Electoral Roll, after due incorporation of changes received from the Dzongkhags during the “Claims and Objections” period from 8th to 18th of April 2013, has a total of 381,790 voters of which 193,873 are Females and 187,917 Males as on 1st of April 2013, the qualifying date for the National Assembly Elections 2013.
The Dzongkhag wise break-up of the Electoral Roll is as follows:

Out of the total registered voters in the country, 79,698 have been registered as Postal Voters for the National Assembly Elections 2013.
An individual Voter can check his / her voter registration status and information on Polling Station on the website of the Election Commission of Bhutan: www.election-bhutan.org.bt using the VPIC number as the Password.
The Final Electoral Roll can be inspected at the respective Dzongkhag Election Offices or the Offices of the Returning Officer or at the Election Commission of Bhutan, Head Office in Thimphu. Each Political Party contesting the elections shall be provided a copy of the Voter’s List for their reference by 14th May 2013 and the same copy should also be maintained carefully as it has to be shared by Candidates for the General Elections.
