The Election Commission of Bhutan, pursuant to Notification ECB/NOTIF/-01/2020/2920 dated 9th October 2020 and as required under Section 34 of the Election Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2008 is pleased to hereby issue the Final Electoral Roll for the Bye-Election of Bumthang Dzongkhag, Chhoekhor_Tang Demkhong, 2020.
The Final Electoral Roll, after due incorporation of changes received from the Dzongkhag during the “Claims and Objections” period from 9th to 18th of October 2020, has a total of 6,219 voters of which 3,315 are Female and 2,904 Male as on 1st of October 2020, the qualifying date for the Bye-Election of Bumthang Dzongkhag, Chhoekhor_Tang Demkhong, 2020.
The Final Electoral Roll can be inspected at the Dzongkhag Election Office or the Office of the Returning Officer or at the Election Commission of Bhutan, Head Office in Thimphu.
Issued on the 3rd Day of the 9th Month of the Male Iron Rat Year of the Bhutanese Calendar corresponding to 19th of October 2020.
