The Election Commission of Bhutan is carrying out a co-ordination meeting from 30th to 31st January, 2023 in Samtse to review and coordinate various programmes and activities being undertaken and planned towards the conduct of the Fourth National Council Elections, 2023.
The meeting is attended by the Chief Election Commissioner, Directors, Dzongkhag Electoral Officers of the twenty Dzongkhags and officials from the Head Office.
In addition to the various topics that will be covered at the meeting, some of the major features include Strategy for the conduct of National Council Elections, 2023, Dhamngoi Zomdu Guideline, Strategy for Postal Ballot, Public Debate and Common Forum. Specifically, the individual Dzongkhag Election Office shall present the state of preparedness to conduct the Fourth National Council Elections, 2023.
