We would like to inform the general public that the Bhutan Accreditation Council (BAC) is mandated to recognize the qualifications as per the Tertiary Education Policy, 2010.
The process for recognition involves validating the qualifications with the awarding institutes and is solely depending on the receipt of response from their end. In view of this, BAC would like to draw attention of the general public specially the registered Political Parties and the aspiring candidates to start processing for recognition of qualifications for the upcoming parliamentary election 2018 at the earliest.
Further, we would like to inform that the recognition application must reach the Secretariat Office at least two months prior to the deadline set by the Election Commission of Bhutan (ECB) for filing of nominations. Any applications received thereafter shall not be entertained. The forms can be downloaded from www.dahe.gov.bt.
