The Election Commission of Bhutan (ECB) hereby notifies the general public that the tenure of the Third Thromde Tshogdes of Phuentshogling and Thimphu Thromdes shall complete on 6 June 2026.
In preparation for the upcoming Thromde Elections, all interested and eligible individuals wishing to contest the elections to the posts of Thrompon and Thromde Tshogpa are advised to initiate processing required documents at the earliest.

For further clarification or assistance, aspiring candidates may contact the Election Operation Division at 02-340464 or the respective Dzongkhag Election Offices of Chhukha and Thimphu.
