On the 9th Local Government Chairperson’s Conference-Towards Greater Decentralization & Participatory Governance, the Election Commission of Bhutan was represented by Dasho Deki Pema, Hon’ble Election Commissioner of Bhutan.
Speaking to the Local Leaders, Hon’ble Election Commissioner highlighted the importance of role of Local Governments in building Democracy.
Hon’ble Election Commissioner also discussed on important issues related to the up-coming Third Parliamentary Elections, 2018 such as Voter Registrations and VPIC, Temporary Polling Stations and Voter Turnout
