Declaration of the Results of the National Council Elections 2013

The Election Commission of Bhutan is pleased to inform the people of Bhutan that the Polls for the National Council Elections 2013 for the Second Parliamentary Elections conducted in the twenty Demkhongs of Bumthang, Chhukha, Dagana, Gasa, Haa, Lhuentse, Monggar, Paro, Pema Gatshel, Punakha, Samdrup Jongkhar, Samtse, Sarpang, Thimphu, Trashigang, Trashi Yangtse, Trongsa, Tsirang, Wangdue Phodrang, and Zhemgang were successfully conducted yesterday, the 23rd of April 2013.

The Election Commission is happy to report that a total of 67 Candidates contested in the National Council Elections, out of which a total of 20 were elected in the Polls.
