The Election Commission of Bhutan in collaboration with the International IDEA is conducting a Multi-Stakeholder Workshop on Civic and Voter Education Strategies from 27th and 28th of August 2015 in Paro.
The workshop is being attended by the 20 Dzongkhag Electoral Officers, representatives from relevant Civil Society Organizations and International partners.
The Workshop is aimed at exploring ideas and options towards further improving the Civic and Voter Education Programme being regularly implemented throughout the electoral cycle as well as towards a long term Civic and Voter Education Strategy. The feedback based on the insights and experience of other stakeholders are being Solicited.
The opening session will be graced by the Election Commissioner of Bhutan, Deki Pema and Senior Officials of the Election Commission of Bhutan.
