The Election Commission of Bhutan is pleased to inform the general public as per Section 234 of the Election Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2008, Pema Wangchuk, replacement Candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of Nanong_Shumar National Assembly Demkhong under Pema Gatshel Dzongkhag has filed his Nomination Papers to contest the General Elections of the Second Parliamentary Elections 2013: National Assembly on 18th of June 2013. The Scrutiny was conducted on 19th of June 2013 and his nomination has been accepted.
Therefore, he shall contest the National Assembly Election as a Candidate for Nanong_Shumar Demkhong from the People’s Democratic Party. He shall be eligible to conduct election campaigns and shall exercise the rights and fulfill all responsibilities of a Candidate.
